Founded in 1893 in southern Pennsylvania, Mercersburg Academy is a coed boarding and day school for grades 9-12 and one-year postgraduates located less than two hours from Washington, D.C. Our 300-acre campus is home to 447 students from across the country and around the world who benefit from 145 academic courses, 27 varsity sports teams, a robust arts program, a robotics program, two senior capstone programs, an outdoor education program, a global travel program, 30+ student clubs, and more. Mercersburg believes deeply in our call to “Define Yourself Here,” and our faculty and staff provide a transformational education that emphasizes character, intellect, and preparation for college and for life in a global community.
