St. Benedict Preparatory School (SBPS) prepares young people from preschool through high school for life-long learning through academic excellence based on individual needs and talents, spiritual formation, personal growth and a commitment to a multicultural community life and Christian stewardship. To develop the whole person, we work with the parish, the home and the community. The parent, as primary educator of the child, is responsible for working with staff members to reinforce the teachings of the church and the school. The children of SBPS are separate and unique individuals, approaching the world of learning at various levels of development, natural ability and backgrounds. The teaching community addresses these levels through challenging opportunities for the students, stressing the curriculum that recognizes student body cultural diversity and incorporating a variety of teaching techniques and materials. Not only do we offer the best of the best DePaul students working to complete their clinical work requirements, DePaul professors assist SBPS teachers as well as DePaul students.
