Thomas Jefferson School (TJ), a co-educational, non-sectarian, independent day and boarding school located in Sunset Hills, Missouri, educates a purposefully diverse and deliberately sized group of academically talented students spanning grades 7-12.

The school is renowned for its college-prep focus, and annually attracts some of the most academically ambitious students from around the globe. We are deliberately sized and purposefully diverse which allows us to fully execute our accelerated, liberal arts curricula in a fast-paced, discussion-based socratic classroom environment. The average TJ student completes 7 AP courses before graduation, and scores in the top 2% on the SAT.
