Kiski is a small boarding school that delivers an experience akin to that of a larger institution,
offering an enriching and diverse environment for its students. Located just under an hour east
of Pittsburgh, our beautiful campus spans 350 acres, providing an inspiring backdrop for
academic and personal growth. The school is home to 200 well-rounded students, with 90% of
them living on campus, fostering a tight-knit community where lasting friendships and
collaboration thrive.
At Kiski, we pride ourselves on our academic rigor and diverse offerings. Our curriculum
includes 12 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, allowing students to challenge themselves and
earn college credit while still in high school. This commitment to academic excellence is
complemented by a robust extracurricular program featuring over 30 clubs and organizations,
catering to a wide range of interests and passions. Whether students are looking to delve into
the arts, engage in community service, or explore scientific inquiry, there’s a club for everyone.
The rigor along with diverse extra-curricular opportunities have helped our students matriculate
to the most selective colleges and universities across the country, including: Carnegie Mellon,
Columbia, Cornell, Hamilton, Harvard, Northwestern, Michigan, Rensselaer Polytechnic, and
University of Pennsylvania. We are proud to announce that 100% of our graduating students
have the opportunity to study at an American college or university. 
Athletics also play a vital role in the Kiski experience. With 12 varsity sports teams, students
have ample opportunity to participate in competitive athletics while developing teamwork,
leadership skills, and a strong sense of school spirit. This balance between academics, arts,
and athletics ensures that our students graduate as well-rounded individuals prepared for the
challenges of the future.
One of the standout features of Kiski is its diverse student body, representing 31 different
countries and 13 states across the United States. This rich tapestry of cultures and perspectives
enhances the educational experience, promoting global awareness and understanding among
students. Through interactions with peers from different backgrounds, students learn to
appreciate diversity and develop important social skills that will serve them well in their future
endeavors.
Kiski is committed to fostering creativity and innovation, which is evident in our state-of-the-art
maker space classroom. This dynamic environment is home to our Inventionland class, where
students engage in hands-on learning, brainstorming, and prototyping. This program
encourages critical thinking and problem-solving, equipping students with the skills needed to
tackle real-world challenges. Additionally, our robotics program allows students to dive deep into
the world of technology and engineering, fostering a passion for STEAM (science, technology,
engineering, art and mathematics) fields.
With a favorable 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio, Kiski ensures that students receive personalized
