Founded in 1932 by the Dominican Sisters of the Congregation of Our Lady of the Rosary of Sparkill, New York, St. Edmund Preparatory High School is a co-educational, private Catholic high school located in Brooklyn, New York. We offer a 4-year academic, college preparatory and religious education curriculum. Originally founded as a parochial high school of St. Edmund Parish, we are currently an independent school, governed by a lay board of trustees. The school is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York, and accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges. We are an IB World School. St. Edmund Prep serves approximately 750 students from Brooklyn and Queens.
