School Overview

Bridgton Academy is the only preparatory school in the United States whose student body is composed entirely of postgraduate students and some select 12th graders. We operate more like a college than a high school and, therefore, the Bridgton Academy year is a true transition year. Our program offers a skills-based curriculum including 12 courses for transferable college credit; study skills and a study hall; an SAT prep course; an exceptional athletic program; and close faculty interaction. Our students develop the academic skills, study skills, self-discipline, and confidence necessary to be successful college students.
