School Overview

Bridgton Academy is the only preparatory school in the United States whose student body is composed entirely of 185 postgraduate students. We operate more like a college than a high school and, therefore, the Bridgton Academy year is a true transition year. Our program offers a skills-based curriculum including 12 courses for transferable college credit; study skills and a study hall; an SAT prep course; an exceptional athletic program; and close faculty interaction. Our students develop the academic skills, study skills, self-discipline, and confidence necessary to be successful college students.
