Westwood Christian School was founded in 1958, as an inseparable ministry of First Baptist Church of Westwood Lake, Inc., an independent Baptist church located in southwest Miami. The co-education program of the school includes preschool through high school. Westwood Christian School offer a strong academic foundation in a Christian setting. Excellent teachers, carefully chosen curriculum materials, and high expectations for the students combine to provide an outstanding educational experience. Throughout the elementary years, a robust curriculum of language arts and mathematics is emphasized.
