School Overview

The Prentice School is an independent, nonprofit, co-educational day school for grades PK - 12 that is dedicated to the needs of students with language learning differences (also known as Specific Language Disability or Dyslexia). Despite the many stereotypes associated with this syndrome, these children can and do learn - they simply learn differently. In fact, children with language learning differences are bright and multi-talented. At Prentice, we provide a supportive, multi-sensory, curriculum-spanning approach that encourages the development of academic competence, effective work habits, and self-discipline. Prentice is dedicated to teaching dyslexic children the skills they need to succeed in today's world.
