Founded in 1999, The Bay School's mission is to provide scientifically-based educational services and to contribute to research that serves children with autism. The year-round school educates students between the ages of five and twenty-one regardless of their race, national or ethnic origin, age, gender or religion. The bay school offers an educational program that utilizes systematic instruction based on the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis. Support and instruction in home management skills for families of enrolled students, access and participation for students in public school inclusion and community programs, opportunities for research in areas of education and intervention for students with autism.
