At Star Academy, our purpose is to provide a comprehensive, prescriptively planned educational-therapeutic program of the highest standards for children with multiple needs and their families with the goal of fostering progress along normal developmental lines. We address each student's cognitive, social-emotional and physical level of functioning including any possible biochemical imbalances which might interfere with optimal functioning and serve as a training resource for staff, community professionals, graduate and undergraduate interns. The intent of our school is to provide an intensive academic and therapeutic program in a caring environment with commitment to help each child reach his or her full potential.
