Lord Wandsworth College is a co-educational independent day and boarding school located set in 1200 acres of stunning North Hampshire countryside in Southern England, less than an hour from London and Heathrow Airport. Established in 1922, Lord Wandsworth College offers an outstanding education for students aged 11 to 18 and enjoys a strong international community.
Our mission statement is simple: to nurture inwardly self-confident, outwardly modest, curious and passionate young individuals who are ambitious to go and make a positive difference in the world.

With 700 pupils on roll we are small enough to really know our students, yet big enough to offer an extensive range of facilities and a broad curriculum. Our students consistently achieve excellent exam results, while still enjoying our extensive co-curriculum and leadership opportunities.
In our Sixth Form, a growing focus on life after school means our pupils develop greater confidence and ambition as they prepare for university and beyond.
The College welcomes pupils from all over the world and really values the contribution they make to our community. We are proud of our cultural diversity.

We offer our international boarders a home from home, allowing them to immerse themselves into the British culture in a wonderfully friendly and supportive way. Our Head of Boarding organises an extensive range of weekend trips and activities and our International Students Association exists to promote the interests of international students.

We are a UKVI licence holder and able to sponsor international students under the student visa scheme.

Does Lord Wandsworth College have rigorous academic requirements?
Our academic assessments and interviews enable us to identify academic potential and a desire to succeed. Our holistic approach helps us to identify where a student can excel through curiosity, highlighting the ability to apply themselves to new ideas and problems.

We invite candidates who are applying from outside of the UK to our online international assessment day when they will have an interview with the Headmaster as well as with a senior member of staff such as a Houseparent. They will also be asked to complete our academic online assessment.

Offers are made not only on the results of our assessments but also subject to the receipt of satisfactory references.

Our Curriculum Support department and our EAL specialist supports pupils for whom English is an additional language. Teaching is provided in a supportive environment and aims to set pupils on a path to independent learning and success.
