一年中に温暖な気候のため、生徒たちは前例のない実践的な学習機会を得ています。教室では、12エーカーの湖を利用した淡水生態学の授業や、アームストロング・グリーンでのシェイクスピアの朗読と演技、メイカースペースでのドローン製作と12月中旬の屋外飛行テストなどが行われています。
インディアン・スプリングスは1万人が訪れる州立公園に隣接しており、生徒たちはここでハイキング、マウンテンバイク、風景写真撮影などを楽しむことができます。また、バーミンガム市中心部から車でわずか20分の距離にあり、インディアン・スプリングスの生徒たちは学校の地理的な利点を最大限に活用することができます。"
