Denver Academy was founded in 1972 and is internationally recognized for the quality of its program. Our mission is to be a center of excellence for the education of students with learning differences in order to help them fully develop their intellectual, social, physical and moral potentials, thereby providing them with the necessary skills to be successful in life. Our students are best described as having average or better intellectual aptitude with a history of learning difficulties or academic underachievement. Our goal is to help these students realize their academic potential and reverse negative self concepts acquired in previous learning environments. Denver Academy leads as a center of excellence for the education of students with learning differences in order to help them fully develop their intellectual, social, creative, physical and moral potentials within a diverse and nurturing environment, thereby providing them with the necessary skills and confidence to be successful in life.
