Bulloch Academy is the only non-parochial independent school in Bulloch County where students may enroll as four-year old pre-kindergartners, grow and learn through elementary and middle grades and depart as college-prepared seniors. The almost 490-student school houses pre-kindergarten, which is funded by the Georgia Lottery, through 12th grades in three buildings, the Kindergarten Wing (pre-kindergarten and kindergarten), the Lower School (grades 1-5) and the Upper School (grades 6-12). Bulloch Academy became one of under 100 non-public secondary and/or middle schools in Georgia to formally receive accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in 2002.
