Founded in 1886 in Madisonville, Texas, Allen Academy is the oldest non-religious private school in the state, serving approximately 350 students from Preschool through 12th grade. As an independent, co-educational day school, Allen Academy offers a college preparatory curriculum that integrates academics, arts, athletics, and community service in a positive and inclusive environment. The faculty and families work together to prepare students with the skills needed for an unpredictable world.

The 40-acre campus features spacious classrooms filled with natural light, wetlands for nature-based learning, and newly renovated early childhood and athletic facilities. The school is divided into Early Childhood, Lower School, and Middle & Upper School, serving students from age three to 12th grade.
