The Schilling School for Gifted Children is an independent coeducational institution founded in 1997, chartered by the Ohio Department of Education. Nationally, it is one of only two schools serving gifted students from kindergarten through 12th grade. All academic courses at the Upper School level are considered honors courses and many are taught at the college level. (i.e. Differential Equations, Discrete Math, Advanced Chinese, Asian Literature and History) Foreign language classes begin in kindergarten and continue through high school.
