Founded in 1916, Aiken Preparatory School has focused on the education of the whole child. Originally through its junior boarding program, and through its current incarnation as an independent day school, APS has touched the lives of many alumni. Through a merger with the Aiken Day School, Aiken Prep added its co-educational program to the curriculum. Located on over 9.5 acres in the heart of historic downtown Aiken, South Carolina, Aiken Preparatory School is a private, independent co-educational day school community reflecting a liberal arts tradition, with an emphasis on rigorous college preparation.
