At Winter Park Presbyterian Preschool we understand that play is how children learn. Our expectations are that the teachers and assistants provide a successful preschool environment, using a developmentally appropriate curriculum of hands-on activities. Helping each child develop to his or her full potential physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually is our goal. Winter Park Presbyterian Preschool will provide children with the kind of environment that will encourage them to learn, grow and be happy. We strive to provide a curriculum that is consistent, organized, carefully planned and provides abundant opportunities to learn. We use a curriculum that incorporates the philosophies and theories of the best child development specialists in education and brain research as well as the tenets of Christian education in the Presbyterian Church.
