Saint Louis Priory School is a faith-centered, Catholic, independent day school for boys in grades seven through twelve offering a nationally recognized accelerated curriculum designed to qualify its graduates for admission to distinguished colleges and universities and to prepare them to undertake their continuing studies with success. The school represents the primary work of the Benedictine monks of Saint Louis Abbey, founded in 1955 by monks of Ampleforth Abbey in York, England. In addition to one of the strongest college preparatory programs in the area, the school seeks to ground young men in the knowledge and practice of the Roman Catholic faith, supported by the highest percentage of religious teaching faculty of any Catholic high school in Saint Louis. In addition to providing a comprehensive program of studies in the humanities, sciences and theology, the curriculum requires participation in athletics, fine arts, community service and a senior thesis. Most students undertake college-level work in their last two years, and many receive college placement and credit through the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Program offered in over a dozen subject areas. The school is located on a 150-acre campus in West Saint Louis County. Nearly 25% of the student body receives financial aid. Reverend Michael Brunner, O.S.B. is Headmaster. Tom Mulvihill
