Ora Academy is an orthodox High School located in Rochester, New York. Ora Academy is committed to the pursuit promoting lifelong commitment to Torah study and observance in a warm, caring environment; enhancing Jewish identity by providing young women with exposure to primary Biblical and exegetical texts; providing a rigorous, college-preparatory secular education that meets and exceeds New York State requirements for graduation; forging a bond with Israel and appreciating the pivotal role that Eretz Yisrael plays in the history and future of the Jewish people; offering special Judaic Studies classes for students who are new to formal Jewish education; fostering the development of intellectual curiosity and higher order thinking skills; inspiring personal and ethical growth through the study and integration of Torah values; and preparing young women to take their place as productive members of the Jewish community and the world at large.
