Holy Ghost is a fully accredited elementary school serving Preschool - 8th grade students since 1948. Our school resides within the Diocese of Joliet. Here at Holy Ghost we are dedicated to preparing our students to be true witnesses of the Catholic Faith, while our core subjects, technology, arts, and athletics prepare our students for an advancing world. The mission of Holy Ghost School is to transmit Catholic Christian truths and values as taught by Jesus. By focusing on the Word, we challenge our students to implement the gospel message, which reflects our Catholic identity and traditions. The ideal of mutual respect and service to others, together with a quality academic curriculum, prepares our students for future academic endeavors and life experiences. Holy Ghost School provides an extracurricular athletic program which strives to foster Christian attitudes and sportsmanship in learning and competitive situations. Our association offers programs in Basketball and Volleyball for students in Grades 5 through 8.
