The Curtis Blake Day School of American International College has been providing high quality services to language learning disabled (LLD) children since 1981 and, more recently, to children diagnosed with a nonverbal learning disability. Our professional staff, most of whom have been with us ten years or more, continually benefit from professional development opportunities offered through the school and its parent institution, American International College. In keeping with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks we use organizational strategies to manage the vast quantities of data available to youngsters in the information age. Understanding and the ability to communicate are the goals, rather than rote memorization of facts. Using our strategic approach, our students learn how to learn.
