Crestwood children Center supports children ages birth to 21 and their families with an array of child welfare, behavioral, mental health, and family development services. Originally founded in 1885 as Infants Summer Hospital, it changed its mission in 1958 to serving children with serious emotional, behavioral, or mental disorders. Crestwood serves children from birth through 21 years of age in services including day treatment education, outpatient treatment, and residential treatment. Day Treatment serves youth ages 3-21 who are experiencing school-related and/or family problems. Day Treatment provides a stable, consistent environment where emotional and educational needs can be met. This is an integrated approach to treatment with focus on therapeutic and educational goals.
