Countryside School is an independent, nonprofit, nonsectarian, fully accredited school that offers a challenging and fulfilling academic program in grades K-8 for students who are motivated to learn. Countryside School combines joy in learning with excellence in education. Countryside School offers all students small instructional groups in math, reading, literature, spelling, vocabulary, foreign languages and science; a math program that focuses on problem solving and applied learning; hands-on, inquiry-based science; literature-based language arts; extensive emphasis on writing; social studies integrated with literature, art and music; physical education, art and music; team sports; and extended day program.
