Clarke School for Hearing and Speech has been developing the listening and speaking skills of children with hearing loss for almost 140 years. At Clarke School, we are teaching a model middle school curriculum and responsible citizenship. Our students are building their self-esteem and academic skills for a successful transition to mainstream schools. In a special mentoring program, they are experiencing new outreach opportunities in the community. At our Center for Oral Education, audiologists offer the most comprehensive assistance to families, schools and individuals of all ages. Senior citizens often need additional help coping with hearing loss, and our professionals go the extra mile to make sure a hearing aid or assistive device is the right fit. Hundreds of specialists, educators and parents turn to Clarke each year for information, educational evaluations and overall guidance. The professionals at our Mainstream Center serve as an important resource to individuals, schools and families around the country.
