Browne Academy is an accredited independent coeducational school for students in preschool through eighth grade. Founded in 1941, our mission for the past 60 years has been to develop the whole child by opening many avenues of opportunity and enabling every student to succeed. We are dedicated to developing independent, passionate, lifelong learners who will actively participate as responsible, caring citizens in a global community. Browne Academy is a member of the Virginia Association of Independent Schools and the Association of Independent Schools of Greater Washington.
