At Beth Tikvah Bnai Jeshurun, Our congregation embraces families with widely diverse interests, backgrounds and dreams, but we all share a common commitment to and a belief in a contemporary approach to Conservative Judaism. Active participation is the heart and soul of Beth Tikvah B'nai Jeshurun, known as BT-BJ. Our revitalized Synagogue provides us with endless opportunities to enhance our sense of family values and encourage Jewish activity within the synagogue and the neighborhoods we serve. Adults of all ages and interests participate in our active Sisterhood, Men's Club, Social Actions programs, and Adult Education Committees. Our spiritual leader, Rabbi Saul Grife, shares the joys of Judaism through classes, discussions, and creative programs with congregants and guests alike. Our BT-BJ Pre-School/K and Religious School, directed by Marcie Leshner and Cantor Arlyne Unger respectively, provide quality Jewish Education that spans the toddler years through high school. Our youth groups of Halutzim, Kadima, and U.S.Y. offer wide-ranging, age appropriate programming for students in 3rd grade and above. BT-BJ has, for more than 25 years, continued to serve as a vital center for Jewish life in our community, through our broad range of holiday celebrations, social functions, family education programs, and adult education forums.
