At Beth Hillel Day School, we are committed to developing the academic skills, individual talents and Jewish identity of every child within a warm, inclusive school community affiliated with the Reform Movement. Beth Hillel Day School is a coeducational Jewish elementary school. The School operates as an independent, non-profit institution under the auspices of Temple Beth Hillel, an inclusive Jewish community affiliated with the Reform Movement. Temple Beth Hillel is dedicated to prayer, study and social responsibility and strives to enhance the spiritual, intellectual and cultural life of each member of the Temple family. Beth Hillel Day School offers a high quality, challenging academic program rooted in sound principles of child development. We view the child as a whole person. To that end, we recognize that the social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth of our students is equally important to their development. Our Jewish Studies program is rooted in the traditions and values of Judaism and strives to bring Judaism to life in a meaningful way for our students. Our families are dedicated to supporting the development of our children and are active participants in nurturing the growth of our children and the school. Through our hands-on, activities-based approach to secular and Jewish Studies, our staff and teachers promote a safe and nurturing atmosphere where children can experience the excitement, challenge and joy of learning. We prepare our graduates to feel successful and excel at the next level of their education. We encourage them to experience the excitement and opportunities of living as responsible Jewish leaders and citizens in our community and our democratic society.
