The Avon Children's Center was established to provide a high quality childcare service. Children who develop good social skills project a positive self image. Our program emphasizes development of peer relationships, cooperation and the importance of learning through play. The schools goal is to advance child development. The program promotes a child's self control, creative expression, cognitive skills, language and physical confidence through that inherent love for learning. The school's curriculum is based upon the use of appropriate developmental practice. This method represents application of techniques that foster growth based on current knowledge in early human development.
