Chicago State University's Child Care Center is an accredited quality care facility for preschool and school age children. The philosophy of the Center is to provide an environment in which social, physical, intellectual, and emotional growth is encouraged through the high scope cognitively oriented curriculum. The Center was recently granted accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Conveniently located on the university's 161-acre campus, the CSU Child Care Center is close to public transportation, rail travel and city expressways. Because of its unique relationship to the university's campus life, young children are exposed to many of the same cultural, educational, and technological benefits the college student shares.
